Milbank LLP acted as international legal counsel to leading global private equity company Bain Capital in its minority investment in PT Sejahteraraya Anugrahjaya Tbk (“SRAJ”), the publicly listed parent company of Indonesia’s Mayapada Hospital Group, which operates six hospitals in Indonesia with a capacity of over 1,300 beds. The investment was structured by way of a hybrid equity investment and private placement of mandatorily redeemable bonds.
The cross-border Milbank team was led by partner Jacqueline Chan in Singapore and included partners John Bona, Andrew Whan and Davide Mencacci in Hong Kong and Bijan Ganji in Washington, DC.
