Primary Focus & Experience

Jacqueline advises on a wide range of international corporate finance transactions and merger-and-acquisition transactions, and regularly represents sponsors, borrowers and lenders on complex cross-border acquisition finance transactions. In addition, she has significant experience with international debt restructurings in Asia. She specializes in structuring complex debt and equity transactions for clients both within and outside of Southeast Asia, and regularly advises many of the largest private equity funds, sovereign wealth funds, corporates, leading banks and financial institutions in their various transactions globally and in particular throughout Asia.

Jacqueline is ranked by Legal 500 Asia Pacific as a “Leading Individual” for Indonesia and in Singapore for restructuring and insolvency and corporate M&A and is described as “outstanding in private equity and big-ticket M&A”. She is also highly ranked by Chambers for her work in banking and finance, corporate M&A and restructuring. Transactions led by Jacqueline regularly receive “Deal of the Year” awards from leading industry publications, including Project Finance International, International Finance Review, and IJ Global. 

Jacqueline has been awarded “Lawyer of the Year” for Insolvency and Reorganization Law in Singapore by The Best Lawyers 2024 edition, an honor that is only awarded to one lawyer for each practice area. She was also recognized in Corporate Law and Mergers and Acquisitions Law by the same publication. Jacqueline has been recognized by Asian Legal Business as one of Asia’s top 15 Female Lawyers 2022 and one of Asia’s top 15 M&A Lawyers 2021, and was named in “The A List” of Singapore’s top 100 lawyers by Asia Business Law Journal. In Singapore, she is regularly listed among the world’s leading Mergers & Acquisitions and Energy lawyers by Who’s Who Legal. Jacqueline has been named as a world’s leading attorney in the fields of Corporate M&A, Banking & Finance and Project Finance by Euromoney's Banking, Finance and Transactional Expert Guide. In IFLR1000, Jacqueline was recognized as a “Highly Regarded’’ lawyer for her expertise in Banking, M&A and Project Finance in Singapore. 

Jacqueline was also named by Finance Monthly Global Awards 2017 as "Private Equity Lawyer of the Year - Singapore", and was recognized by Lawyer Monthly and receiving its “Women in Law 2017 Award” in recognition of her outstanding legal expertise and contributions within the practice area of corporate law.  Jacqueline was named among Private Funds Management's (PFM) “30 Under 40,” an annual list of the most influential private equity lawyers around the world under 40 years of age, which lists “superstar” lawyers who are recognized by professionals in private equity as well as other law firms as the “best of the best,” according to the magazine.
