Zhen Yang Kua

Primary Focus & Experience

Zhen’s practice focuses on banking and finance and he regularly acts for sponsors, borrowers, lenders and other stakeholders on a variety of cross-border project, acquisition and leveraged finance transactions on both private and public deals. He has particular experience in advising on syndicated, bank-bond, unitranche, subordinated/second lien and back-leverage financings. In addition to his finance work, Zhen has advised leading banks, private equity firms and corporates on restructurings, M&A and capital markets transactions within Europe and internationally. His experience spans a number of sectors including healthcare, infrastructure, financial services and technology.

Recognition & Accomplishments

Prior to joining Milbank, Zhen was an associate in the London office a highly-respected U.S. law firm and prior to that completed his training contract in the London office of a “Magic Circle” law firm.
