Lauren Trushin is an associate in the Washington, DC office of Milbank LLP and a member of the firm’s Transportation and Space Group and Global Risk & National Security Practice.
Ms. Trushin advises clients on a range of issues involving international trade and national security, including risk management under, and compliance with, US economic sanctions enforced by the US Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), export control regulations such as the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), anti-corruption and anti-bribery regulations such as the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), anti-money laundering regulations such as the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), and national security reviews conducted by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS).
