Huanbo Zeng is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Milbank and a member of the firm's Global Project, Energy and Infrastructure Finance Group.
Primary Focus & Experience
Mr. Zeng’s practice focuses on renewable energy and infrastructure project financings, representing lenders, tax equity investors, borrowers and other project participants.
Mr. Zeng’s representative transactions include:
- Representation of lenders in the $1.71 billion Maricopa financing for a 550 MW solar plus 2,200 MWh storage facility in Arizona
- Representation of lenders in the $243 million Quail Ranch financing for a 100 MW solar plus 400 MWh storage facility in New Mexico
- Representation of lenders in the $773 million Country Acres financing for a 344 MW solar plus 688 MWh storage facility in California
- Representation of lenders in the $550 million Roadrunner financing for a 290 MW solar plus 940 MWh storage facility in Arizona
- Representation of lenders in the $299 million Ratts 1 and Heirloom financing for a 210 MW solar generation facility in Indiana
- Representation of tax equity investor in a 522 MW solar plus storage portfolio located in Florida, Oklahoma, Oregon and Wyoming
- Representation of lenders and note purchasers for a combined bridge loan and private placement financing of a portfolio of solar and storage projects located in Georgia, Arizona, Florida and Colorado
- Representation of lenders in the $1.23 billion Centennial Flats financing for a 675 MW solar plus 1,068 MWh storage facility in Arizona
- Representation of tax equity investor for the 593 MW Double Black Diamond solar generation facility located in Illinois
- Representation of joint tax equity investors in a 887.2 MW wind, solar and storage portfolio located in Kansas, Montana, Wyoming and California
- Representation of lenders in the $1.2 billion Harquahala financing for a 450 MW solar plus 1,200 MWh storage facility in Arizona
- Representation of lenders in financing for the Ten West Link transmission line located in Arizona and California
- Representation of lenders in the Black Bear project financing for a portfolio of hydroelectric generation facilities in Maine
Recognition & Accomplishments
Mr. Zeng co-authored the United States chapter in Getting The Deal Through: Renewable Energy 2022 (Lexology).
Mr. Zeng earned his J.D. from the New York University School of Law, where he was a staff editor for the Journal of Law and Business. Mr. Zeng graduated with honors from the University of Toronto, where he received his B.Sc. in Biology and Philosophy.
