Milbank Advises SK hynix on $2B Acquisition of Intel’s SSD/NAND Business

Milbank LLP advised SK hynix Inc. ("SK hynix"), one of the world's largest semiconductor manufacturers, on the second phase closing of its $9 billion acquisition of Intel’s global SSD and NAND flash memory business.

The transaction was structured as a two-step process. Milbank represented SK hynix in all aspects of the highly complex and closely negotiated second and final phase of the transaction, marking a significant strategic expansion for SK hynix in the global semiconductor market.

SK hynix Inc., headquartered in South Korea, is a global leader in memory technology, supplying dynamic random-access memory (DRAM) and flash memory products to customers worldwide.
