Min is a seasoned corporate M&A lawyer recognized as a “Rising Star” for Corporate and M&A by The Legal 500 and a 2023 Singapore “Rising Star” by Asian Legal Business (ALB) with a focus on advising clients on international M&A, joint venture, private equity and private credit transactions.

Primary Focus & Experience

He specializes in representing companies and financial and strategic investors on multi-jurisdictional transactions in a wide range of sectors and industries, including banking, healthcare, food and beverage, technology, telecommunication, conventional and renewable power and oil and gas.

Prior to relocating to Singapore, Min worked at an international business law firm based in New York and Toronto where he advised companies, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, private equity funds, international commercial banks and strategic investors on their domestic and cross-border investments and ventures.

Min is bilingual in Korean and English.

Recognition & Accomplishments

Min has acted on a number of deals that were awarded “Deal of the Year” including Udenna Corporation’s joint venture with China Telecommunications Corporation (ALB’s Southeast Asia M&A Deal of the Year (Premium) and ALB’s Philippine Law Awards 2020: M&A Deal of the Year) and RAPID Refinery and Petrochemical Project Financing (The Asset's Triple A Asia Infrastructure Awards 2020: Oil and Gas Deal of the Year: Regional, The Asset's Triple A Asia Infrastructure Awards 2020: Oil and Gas Deal of the Year: Indonesia, IJGlobal Asia Pacific Petrochemicals Deal of the Year 2020 and IFLR’s Project Finance Deal of the Year 2019).

Min, together with Partner Jacqueline Chan, authored the article “Overview of the Insolvency and Restructuring Regime in Indonesia” that has been published by Risk Event-Driven and Distressed Intelligence.

He was also a key member of the Milbank team that contributed to the latest Venture Capital Investment Model Agreements (VIMA 2.0) published by the Singapore Academy of Law and the Singapore Venture Capital Association.
