Milbank Global Project, Energy and Infrastructure Finance partner Allan Marks will moderate the “The Impact of Climate Change on Infrastructure” panel at the virtual USP3 Forum on October 6, 2020.
Allan and the other speakers on the panel – from Generate, Puerto Rico Public-Private Partnerships Authority, NEXUS Infrastructure Capital Management, Marathon Capital Partners, California’s Governor’s Office of Planning and Research, and Moody’s – will explore the following topics:
- How to mitigate the physical risks of climate change on infrastructure assets

- How to reduce vulnerability to extreme weather events
- Climate change as an opportunity for smarter P3 investments
Industry leaders will discuss key trends and themes at the virtual forum, which takes place on October 5-6, 2020. Additional panels will discuss factors that will define the US Public-Private Partnership market in the future, including the upcoming election’s influence on infrastructure policy, the impact of COVID-19 and a global pandemic on demand-risk projects, and the expansion of social and energy infrastructure projects across many subsectors.
