Milbank Global Project, Energy and Infrastructure Finance partner Allan Marks is chairing the second annual Infraday West conference on December 4 in Los Angeles.
Infraday West brings together over 300 infrastructure leaders including local, state and federal authorities with developers of and investors in some of the most important infrastructure and transportation projects in the Western US, as well as financiers, consultants, builders, engineers and technology innovators. The conference explores how capital projects intersect with innovation and risk to identify new opportunities in infrastructure and develop solutions to challenges facing the market.
Mr. Marks, who is giving the opening keynote at the conference, has extensive experience representing developers, investors and lenders in the development, financing and acquisition of complex infrastructure projects worldwide, with special expertise in the energy, transportation and water sectors. He has worked on toll roads projects in California, Texas, Florida, Virginia, Indiana and Illinois, airport modernization projects in New York, Los Angeles, and Latin America, rail and transit projects in the US and Latin America, water projects in California and Texas and a host of renewable energy and other infrastructure projects throughout the Americas and Asia.
Mr. Marks is also moderating a panel “California’s Power Infrastructure - Climate Change, Resilience and Adaptation” addressing the devastating California wildfires and lawmakers’ pledge to source 100 percent of the state’s energy from renewables by 2045.
