LatinFinance Names Milbank Best Infrastructure Law Firm in Latin America Third Year in a Row

Milbank Wins 7 Total Project & Infrastructure Finance Awards

Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP earned seven awards, including “Best Infrastructure Law Firm in Latin America,” at the annual LatinFinance Project & Infrastructure Finance Awards which were held on October 3 in New York.

LatinFinance’s 2018 Project & Infrastructure Awards recognize the most impressive firms and transactions that have played a critical role in the region’s economic progress. Winners are selected based on significance, innovation and complexity of the transaction. The “Best Infrastructure Law Firm in Latin America” award is selected based on nominations from industry participants, overall strategy, volume and diversity of transactions, innovation, foresight and execution quality.

In addition to garnering the Best Infrastructure Law Firm award, Milbank earned the following accolades from LatinFinance:

The awards ceremony at The Pierre was attended by the top infrastructure developers, investors, financiers, government officials and legal practitioners from throughout Latin America. Attorneys representing Milbank included partners Dan Bartfeld, Roland Estevez, Jaime Ramirez and Carolina Walther-Meade and senior associate Fernando Capellão of the Global Project, Energy and Infrastructure Finance Group, and partners Marcelo Mottesi and Carlos Albarracín of the Global Capital Markets Group.
