Susanne Baier

Primary Focus & Experience

Susanne Baier specializes in leveraged finance and infrastructure finance. Other areas of expertise include corporate investment grade and sub-investment grade lending as well as financial restructuring. She advises sponsors and corporate borrowers as well as (direct) lenders on all aspects of national and cross-border transactions in acquisition finance, infrastructure finance, syndicated lending and financial restructuring. 

Recognition & Accomplishments

Before joining Milbank, Susanne Baier worked at a "Magic Circle" law firm in Munich. She studied law at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich. Susanne Baier is an alumni scholarship holder of the Max-Planck-Society as well as the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes. 

She is admitted to the German bar and speaks both German and English.
