Primary Focus & Experience
Mr. Katsnelson has experience representing major investment banks, institutional lenders, private equity firms, developers, family offices and institutional asset managers in connection with mortgage and mezzanine financings secured by commercial real estate, acquisitions and dispositions of real estate assets across all categories, real estate equity structuring arrangements and real estate workouts and special situations, including defaulted financings and equity arrangements.
Recognition & Accomplishments
Mr. Katsnelson received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and his B.A. from New York University. Prior to joining Milbank in 2021, he practiced for over eight years at two New York based law firms.
Mr. Katsnelson was named a Rising Star of Commercial Real Estate – Advisory by Real Estate Fund Intelligence in 2019. He also assisted in publishing “From sea to shining sea: Investment opportunities in US markets beyond the major coastal cities” in Euromoney Real Estate Finance & Investment Review in June 30, 2014.
