Natalia Rodriguez-Pastrana is an associate in the New York office of Milbank LLP and a member of the firm’s Project, Energy and Infrastructure Finance Group.

Primary Focus & Experience

Ms. Rodríguez-Pastrana’s practice is primarily focused on the representation of private equity sponsors, developers, international financial institutions and multinationals in a wide range of cross-border financings, international project finance and acquisition finance transactions with an emphasis on infrastructure, renewable and conventional power throughout Latin America.

Her recent representations include:

  • lenders in connection with the USD 176 million financing of a solar plant located in Peru, sponsored by Solarpack.
  • Actis’ subsidiary Valia Energía in connection with a USD 530 million bond financing and related working capital facility to refinance existing debt of the MT Falcon and EVM assets in Mexico.
  • Carlyle in connection with the private placement of Greenbacker’s senior secured notes to be used for the financing of the development and operation of solar projects in Nevada, New Jersey, and Utah and wind projects in Maine.
  • Patria as sponsor on the USD 170 million financing to finance Patria’s equity investment in a desalination project in Chile.
  • several international financial institutions, including multilateral agencies on the USD 1.25 billion financing to expand the Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima, Peru.
  • Fanalca and Transdev as sponsors in connection with the local currency equivalent of approximately USD 150 million financing for the acquisition of a fleet of electric buses in Colombia.
  • Naturgy and Grupo Ibereólica as sponsors on the USD 185 million financing for the operation of two renewable projects located in Chile.
  • lenders in connection with the USD 103 million financing of a wind farm and a solar plant located in Chile, sponsored by Opdenergy.
  • lenders in connection with the financing for the $520 million financing for the Pamplona-Cúcuta 4G Toll Road Project in Colombia, sponsored by Sacyr.

Recognition & Accomplishments

Ms. Rodriguez-Pastrana earned her L.L.M. from Columbia University and her J.D. from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. She is a native Spanish speaker.
