Primary Focus & Experience

Megan's recent representations include:

• The Lenders in connection with an acquisition financing in which Global Infrastructure Partners will purchase Eversource’s 50% equity interest in the South Fork and Revolution offshore wind projects being developed by Orsted.
• Mizuho Bank, Ltd. in connection with an acquisition and development financing for Stonepeak to acquire a 50% non-controlling interest in Dominion Energy’s Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind Project and to fund 50% of remaining project costs.  
• Deutsche Bank AG and First-Citizens Bank & Trust Company in connection with UBS Asset Management’s development of a 728MW portfolio of four battery storage Projects located in Texas.
• LS Power as Sponsor in connection with the $1.65 billion term loan B refinancing of three credit facilities to support a 4.2 GW portfolio of natural gas-fired power plants located across Pennsylvania, Ohio and Texas.
• One Equity Partners in connection with the sale of Computer Design & Integration to AHEAD.
• Hartree Partners in connection with the sale of its portfolio of natural gas storage assets to Williams for approximately $1.95 billion.

Recognition & Accomplishments

Megan McLoughlin earned her juris doctorate, with honors, from The George Washington University Law School. She was the Online Editor of the International Law Review, and was published in the International Law Review blog in June of 2023.
