Joseph Kammerman is an associate in the New York office of Milbank and a member of the firm’s Litigation & Arbitration Group.

Primary Focus & Experience

Mr. Kammerman’s practice focuses on complex commercial, class action, and bankruptcy litigation, as well as white collar defense and investigations. He has practiced in federal and state courts across the country and before regulatory bodies such as the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Department of Justice. He has represented publicly traded and private corporate clients as well as individuals from a variety of industries, including banking, finance, real estate, and energy.

Recognition & Accomplishments

Mr. Kammerman earned his J.D., cum laude, from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Moot Court Honor Society, was a Jacob Burns Medalist, and won the Tulane Moot Court Sports Law Invitational. In addition, Mr. Kammerman authored a paper on alternative dispute resolution, which received several accolades, including first place in a writing competition sponsored by the American Bar Association’s Section of Dispute Resolution and awards from the International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution and the Association of Conflict Resolution. Mr. Kammerman earned his B.A., summa cum laude, from Rutgers University, where he received the Monroe Berkowitz Memorial Award for Economics.
