Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide administrative and organizational support for Milbank@Harvard, a new collaboration with Harvard Law School to provide a four module, multi-year executive education program to Milbank Associates on-site at Harvard. Starting at the end of the third year continuing through the seventh year, every Milbank Associate globally will participate in a stepped program taught on-campus at Harvard. Every 15 months, associates will undergo an eight-day training program, taught by Harvard Law and Business School professors with the assistance of Milbank partners, covering topics in business, finance, law, management skills, client relations and personal professional development. Some of the primary responsibilities include:
- Be the main point of contact working directly with Harvard’s Program Manager to provide needed information concerning Milbank’s participants and presenters
- Act as the subject matter expert on all matters related to Milbank@Harvard in order to respond to Associate questions as needed
- Coordinate the distribution of Milbank@Harvard program invitations, prep materials and follow-up evaluations
- Oversee travel and transportation arrangements for participants and process expense reimbursements
- Schedule and follow up with Partner presenters as needed
- Oversee the CLE requirements and CLE tracking for the Milbank@Harvard sessions
- Review participant evaluations and presenter comments and provide analysis and suggestions concerning changes for future modules or the need for inter-module programs to prepare participants for the rigors of an upcoming module
- As schedule permits, assist with other major firm training programs, i.e. summer associate training, Gold Conference & Orientation
- Other responsibilities as they may be assigned from time to time
Education or Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree required and 3+ years of relevant experience organizing training and development programs.
- Law Firm Professional Development experience preferred.
- Knowledge of NY & California CLE requirements a strong plus.
- Knowledge of a CLE tracking system a plus, Micron CLE tracking system preferred.
- Strong computer skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.

- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, required in order to communicate effectively with the Harvard Program Manager, Associates and Partners.
- Must exhibit a professional image and demeanor in this highly visible role.
- Must possess strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
- Must be able to work independently and as well as part of a team.
- Must possess the ability to think analytically, be proactive, exercise independent judgment and decision-making.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and be client service oriented.
- Must be available to report to work on regularly scheduled days and at the scheduled hour.
- Must be flexible and available to work overtime including weekends.
