Milbank Litigation partner Sean Murphy will be speaking on a panel titled “Enforcement and Litigation Trends” on the second day of PLI’s Investment Management Institute 2016. The discussion will take place on Friday, March 4, 2016, at 9am. Among topics of discussion, the panel will cover: SEC Investment Management enforcement themes, Section 36(b) and the use of sub-advisers, litigation under the Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, and derivative litigation. The conference will include various expert panelists discussing significant business and legal developments in the investment management area over the past year, as well as numerous regulatory initiatives.
