Milbank Wins “Deal of the Year” at IFLR Awards 2022

Milbank LLP’s leveraged finance and capital markets team was honoured with an IFLR 2022 Deal of the Year award for its work on the financing of Brookfield’s acquisition of Modulaire Group for approximately $5 billion, making it one of the largest European leveraged buyouts of 2021.

The Milbank team was led by European Leveraged Finance/Capital Markets partners Suhrud Mehta, Apostolos Gkoutzinis, Sarbajeet Nag and Rebecca Marques.

Milbank was also delighted to be shortlisted for Deal of the Year for the L Catterton’s acquisition of Birkenstock, Teams of the Year for debt and equity linked, high yield and loan deals, as well as US Law firm of the year and International Law Firm of the Year.
