Milbank Announces 2026 New Partners

Milbank LLP is pleased to announce that eight attorneys have been elected to the firm’s partnership, effective January 1, 2026.

Leah Chacón is a member of the Global Project, Energy and Infrastructure Finance Group. Her practice focuses on the representation of project sponsors and financial institutions in a range of US and cross-border financings. Ms. Chacón earned her J.D. from Emory University School of Law, M.B.A. from Emory University, and B.S.F.S. and M.A. from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. She is based in Washington, DC.

Zachary Cronin is a member of the Transportation and Space Group, focusing on structured finance and corporate transactions across transportation and equipment assets, esoteric assets and digital infrastructure. He advises underwriters, lenders, investors, sponsors, issuers, borrowers, joint ventures, asset managers and leasing companies on secured and syndicated lending, asset-backed securities, restructurings, joint ventures, acquisitions, dispositions, operating leases and export credit agency financings. His work spans capital markets, bank markets, and alternative lending. Mr. Cronin earned his J.D. from Fordham Law School and B.A. from New York University. He is based in New York.

Timothy Fitzpatrick is a member of the Global Project, Energy and Infrastructure Finance Group. He focuses his practice on project finance, project development and limited recourse financings in the energy and infrastructure sectors, particularly transactions covering the full range of the digital infrastructure value chain, including data centers, telecom towers and fiber networks, and other related infrastructure. Mr. Fitzpatrick earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, M.A. from Georgetown University and B.A. from Boston College. He is based in New York.

Séverine Losembe is a member of the Global Project, Energy and Infrastructure Finance Group. Her experience includes the representation of financial institutions and project sponsors in domestic and international project and structured financings, with a focus on the power, infrastructure, mining, and oil and gas sectors. Ms. Losembe earned her J.D., cum laude, from Fordham Law School and B.A. from Barnard College, Columbia University. She is based in New York.

Jeff Meyers is a member of the Direct Lending and Specialty Finance Practice. His practice focuses on representation of lenders and borrowers in domestic and cross-border financing transactions. He has worked for a variety of clients on matters involving secured lending, asset-based loans and structured investments. Recent areas of particular focus include alternative asset manager financing solutions and structured transactions. Mr. Meyers earned his J.D., summa cum laude, from New York Law School and B.A. from Skidmore College. He is based in New York.

Sarah-Maria Resch is a member of the Global Corporate/M&A Group. She advises private equity investors, family offices and companies on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions. Her practice covers the full spectrum of M&A, including leveraged buyouts, minority investments, joint ventures and consortia. Dr. Resch studied law at the University of Heidelberg and the University of Leeds (United Kingdom) and holds a doctoral degree from the University of Heidelberg. She is based in Frankfurt.

Robert Wyse Jackson is a member of the Alternative Investments Group. He represents asset managers, banks, corporates and investors in a variety of securitization (public and private), derivatives and structured finance transactions across a wide range of asset classes, including CLOs, NPLs and trade receivables. Mr. Wyse Jackson earned his LL.B. from Trinity College, Dublin and LL.M. from London School of Economics and Political Science. He is based in London.

Jeffrey Zwerner is a member of the Global Project, Energy and Infrastructure Finance Group. He advises investors, lenders, sponsors, contractors and vendors in relation to the development and financing of energy and infrastructure projects. His primary area of focus is the representation of debt and equity financing parties in complex North American renewable energy transactions, especially those involving US federal tax benefits and other incentives. Mr. Zwerner earned his J.D., cum laude, from the Georgetown University Law Center, a certificate in Transnational Law from the Center for Transnational Legal Studies in London, and B.A. from Furman University. He is based in Washington, DC.
