The international law firm Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP has advised Philipp Lahm, the professional football player, on his acquisition of a stake in Schneekoppe. Alongside the Krefeld entrepreneur Gerald Wagener and the Managing Director of Schneekoppe GmbH, Markus Klein, Philipp Lahm Holding is the third shareholder of the organic food retailer in Lower Saxony.
A Milbank team led by partner Rolf Füger advised Philipp Lahm Holding GmbH on corporate and tax law in relation to the acquisition. Milbank has previously also advised Philipp Lahm in connection with his investments in Bavarian sport products manufacturer Sixtus, in da:nova, a provider of in-firm health protection products in Nuremberg and in Berliner Brückenköpfe GmbH (think tank and decision agency for ideas in the health care sector).
