Milbank LLP advised NavVis, a Munich-based provider of spatial data solutions for the built environment, on its $85 million Series D financing round. The financing round was led by US private equity firm The Jordan Company (“TJC”), with existing shareholders Yttrium together with a consortium of industrial family offices, as well as Kozo Keikaku Engineering, Inc.(“KKE”) and Cipio Partners.

NavVis plans to invest the funds into next-generation technology and infrastructure to further scale its spatial data capabilities, as well as into an AI layer designed to make spatial data semantic, actionable and accessible for operators and automated systems in construction and industry. Geographically, a key focus will be on expanding the company's presence in the US market, where NavVis has seen its strongest growth in recent years.

NavVis spatial data solutions include mobile reality capture technology and an enterprise cloud platform for managing and sharing spatial data. In 2025, more than a billion square meters of industrial plants, construction sites, and buildings were processed through the NavVis platform. More than 1,500 customers in over 50 countries use NavVis' solutions.

The Milbank team that advised NavVis on this transaction was led by partners Michael Bernhardt and Jan Häller (both Corporate/M&A, Frankfurt) and included partner Matthias Schell (Tax, Munich) as well as associates Steven Buschle and Jonathan Grumann (both Corporate/M&A, Frankfurt).
