Twice a year, the "Munich Forum for Listed Companies" gathers to discuss current trends, strategies and challenges with general counsel and the heads of investor relations departments of Bavarian listed companies. On June 12, our Corporate partner Ulrike Friese-Dormann, who co-chairs the forum with Christine Bortenlänger from Deutsches Aktieninstitut, discussed with their guests the impact of upcoming sustainability requirements on the decision-making of boards members of listed companies. All participants agreed that ESG is a matter for the boardrooms and is likely to affect management decisions in many ways.
