• Schlumberger in its pending $4.1 billion acquisition of Kelvion.
• Schlumberger in its acquisition of S&P Global Energy’s upstream geoscience and petroleum engineering software portfolio.
• AMSURG in its $3.9 billion acquisition by Ascension.
• Schlumberger in its $7.8 billion acquisition of ChampionX.
• LS Power in its $12 billion sale of assets to NRG.
• United States Steel Corporation in its $14.9 billion acquisition by Nippon Steel Corporation.
• Veritas Capital and SEACOR Holdings in numerous transactions.

Litigation 

• Charlesbank Capital Partners in the settlement of an antitrust class action alleging violations of Sections 1 and 2 of the Sherman Act.
• Invesco Ltd., Man Group PLC, and Strategic Value Partners LLC in their pending antitrust defense of liability management exercises.

Ms. Kothawade served as a law clerk to Justice D.Y. Chandrachud of the Supreme Court of India and previously practiced as a commercial litigator in India.

Recognition & Accomplishments

Ms. Kothawade holds a specialized master’s degree in antitrust law from NYU School of Law, where she co-founded the Antitrust & Competition Law Society and interned with the Antitrust Bureau of the NY State Attorney General. She also holds a B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) degree from National Law School of India University, Bangalore where she graduated as a triple gold-medalist.
