Primary Focus & Experience
Mr. Wen’s practice focuses on corporate law, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, corporate governance, and corporate restructurings. Mr. Wen has worked with clients on transactional matters in a broad range of industries such as power, energy and infrastructure, financial services, and health care-related businesses.
Mr. Wen’s recent representations include:
- Amp Solar Group Inc. in connection with the sale of its US-based renewable energy generation and battery storage business to a consortium comprising funds managed by Fiera Infrastructure Inc. and Palisade Infrastructure Group.
- Apollo Global Management in connection with the €1.5 billion investment by Apollo-managed affiliated entities, funds and clients into an Air France-KLM operating affiliate holding the trademark and most of the commercial partners contracts related to Air France and KLM’s joint loyalty program (Flying Blue).
- Breakthrough Energy Catalyst in its acquisition of an equity interest in the FlagshipONE project and its related partnership arrangements with Ørsted, the European Commission and the European Investment Bank.
- Global carbon finance company in connection with its out-of-court restructuring.
- Molina Healthcare in its $600 million acquisition of Brand New Day and Central Health Plan from Bright Health Group.
- One Equity Partners in its carveout and acquisition of TechnipFMC's (NYSE: FTI) measurement solutions business, rebranded as Guidant, a leading provider of integrated measurement systems deployed across the energy value chain.
