A Hard Look at the Impact of Foreign Financing (private and multilateral) in Latin America" at the International Bar Association’s (IBA) Annual Conference, which will be held September 18-23, 2016 in Washington, DC. The panel will discuss the impact of foreign financing in Latin American countries during the 2005-2015 period, with a focus on determining what went well and what went wrong - both from a region's and financier's perspective, in order to adopt policies that will foster growth in the next decade. The panel also features the general counsels of Export Development Canada, the Inter-American Development Bank and the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency, and senior counsels of International Finance Corporation, the Export-Import Bank of the United States and Overseas Private Investment Corporation.
