Milbank LLP won top honors at the TMT Finance USA Awards 2026, held October 8 in New York City. The firm was named "Legal Advisory Trailblazer of the Year," recognized by the judges for its work "across the biggest and most innovative financings of the year, at a time when creative structuring matters more than ever." Jaime Ramirez, co-chair of Milbank's Digital Infrastructure practice, was also named "Lawyer of the Year." The judges cited his "breadth and depth across the market's top marquee transactions, in the year financing mattered most."
The team also won "Datacenter Deal of the Year – Debt" for its role advising on Meta and Blue Owl Capital's groundbreaking $27.3 billion structured joint venture, one of the largest single-project financings in the AI infrastructure space.
