Milbank LLP leads 2017 equity capital markets league tables in Brazil, having advised issuers, selling shareholders and initial purchasers in initial public offerings, re-IPOs and follow-on equity offerings with a combined value of over R$13 billion.
The Brazilian equity capital markets have been very active in 2017, with a total of 18 equity transactions and an additional four deals currently filed with the local regulator. Milbank has acted or is acting on an impressive eleven of the total of 22 transactions in Brazil in 2017, representing 50% of the transactions, more than any other international law firm.
