LONDON, 20 May, 2015 - Milbank’s London Leveraged Finance team, headed by partner Suhrud Mehta, has earned a spot on the shortlist for “Finance Team of the Year” at The Lawyer Awards 2015, the UK legal market’s most prestigious awards. The honour is based on the team’s English law covenant-lite TLB financing for the acquisition of Sebia, as well as other standout leveraged finance transactions the team has advised on over the past year. Winners will be announced on Tuesday 23rd June, 2015.
Milbank’s London office has also been shortlisted for two awards in The American Lawyer’s inaugural Transatlantic Legal Awards 2015 in the UK. Milbank’s London Litigation team, headed by partner Julian Stait, is nominated for “Transatlantic Litigation Team - UK and Europe”, and litigation partner Tom Canning is nominated individually as a “Transatlantic Rising Star”. Winners will be announced on Thursday 4th June, 2015.
