Our dedicated team continues to advise on the most innovative and complex matters in the M&A and project finance field.”

Milbank transactions were honored in the following categories:

  • Overall Middle East and Africa – ADNOC Lightning Offshore Transmission: Milbank advised JBIC, K-EXIM and the commercial banks on ADNOC’s $3.6 billion sub-sea power cable project which will connect ADNOC’s offshore oil rigs to renewable energy sources in the UAE, substantially reducing carbon emissions in the oil production process .

The US$800 million finance package will support UAE-based AMEA Power and Japan’s Sumitomo Corporation to build, own and operate the Amunet wind farm which will help reduce Egypt's carbon footprint by 1.7 million tons of greenhouse gases annually.
