Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP was honored with an Ally for Justice Award by the Urban Justice Center’s Community Development Project (CDP) at the CDP’s 15th anniversary celebration on September 22. A longtime supporter of the organization’s mission to strengthen the impact of grassroots organizations in New York City’s low income and other excluded communities, Milbank has worked with the CDP on a number of pro bono matters since its founding in 2001.
Milbank’s Director of Public Service, partner Joseph Genova, accepted the award on behalf of the firm, acknowledging the long relationship between Milbank and the CDP. Associates Matt Gornick and David Hanno, currently working on pro bono matters for the CDP, also attended the event.
