Shah joins group of 35 business executives in program focused on engaging with top leaders in NYC to address political and civic issues

Milbank Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP is pleased to announce that Manan (Mike) Shah, partner in the Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits Group, has been selected as a David Rockefeller Fellow along with 35 other senior business executives by the Partnership for New York City.

Representing a diverse range of industries, including technology, law, financial services, real estate, media and health care, the selected class is comprised of individuals who hold leadership positions at their companies and demonstrate a strong interest in learning more about political and civic issues, noted Partnership for New York City.

The one-year program involves meetings and site visits that focus on enhancing business and civic leadership skills by engaging with top leaders in the private, public and nonprofit sectors. During the program, Fellows attend private meetings with leaders of government agencies and private organizations, such as the New York Police Department, the MTA, the Brooklyn Navy Yard and the Museum of Natural History. They benefit from candid discussions about the big challenges facing the city and how they are being managed.

Previous Rockefeller Fellows include Dan Bartfeld, practice group leader of the Global Project Finance Group, Jerome McCluskey, partner in the Leveraged Finance Group and chair of Milbank’s Diversity Committee and Georgiana Slade, practice group leader of the Trusts & Estates Group.
