Yesterday, the Futures Industry Association (FIA) hosted over 100 leaders in the derivatives industry for a Clearing in a Day conference. The conference brought together regulators, clearing houses and their members to discuss developments, concerns and best practices in the clearing space. Milbank Alternative Investments Practice Partner John Williams moderated a panel titled, “Demonstrating Compliance with Clearing Member Legal and Risk Requirements” and also spoke on the topic of “CPMI-IOSCO PFMIs 2.0.”
