John Williams, partner in Milbank’s Alternative Investments Practice Group, will participate as a panelist on the “Cleared Swaps and Swaps Execution Issues” panel at the 2016 Futures Industry Association (FIA) Law and Compliance (L&C) Conference. This panel will discuss issues related to cleared swaps, including execution issues, straight through processing and LSOC. Daniel Walfish, special counsel in Milbank’s Litigation and Arbitration Group, will speak on the “What is Spoofing?” panel, covering the elements of impermissible spoofing. The L&C Conference will be held May 4th – 6th at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront in Maryland and will cover the regulation of futures, derivatives and OTC products.
