Milbank Intellectual Property & Litigation Partner John Lu will speak at the Asian Pacific American Dispute Resolution Center’s (APADRC) 30th Anniversary Celebration on December 10 in Los Angeles. Mr. Lu is the Chair of the Board of Directors for APADRC.
The Asian Pacific American Dispute Resolution Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides mediation and conflict resolution services to the diverse communities in the Los Angeles area, with a focus on the Asian Pacific Islander population. The APADRC is the only center in Southern California whose service population routinely includes the often excluded, monolingual Asian Pacific immigrant communities.
APADRC’s celebration theme is “Resolving Conflicts, Building Peace.” Proceeds of the event will go towards helping Los Angeles County citizens resolve their conflicts through services provided by the APADRC including: community mediation, restorative justice, peer mediation in schools, divorce mediation, and conflict resolution training.
