Milbank LLP Global Corporate partner Iliana Ongun will be speaking at the Corporate Counsel Women of Color’s 18th Annual Career Strategies Conference in Atlanta, October 5–8. Ms. Ongun’s panel discussion is titled “10 Tips for Young Female Lawyers in a Male-Dominated Industry.”
Ms. Ongun advises public and private companies in a wide range of industries in connection with mergers and acquisitions, including cross-border and domestic acquisitions and divestitures, joint ventures, private equity transactions and spin-offs. She has been named a “Rising Star” in M&A by Super Lawyers magazine and was recognized among the "Top Women Attorneys" in the New York Metro area for 2022 by The American Registry.
Corporate Counsel Women of Color (CCWC) was founded in 2004 with the mission of fostering diversity, equity and inclusion in the legal profession. CCWC is the nation’s largest organization for corporate in-house women of color attorneys, and represents more than 10,000 lawyers, judges, lawyer entrepreneurs and law students.
