Milbank Litigation partner Antonia Apps moderated a panel at the City Bar’s 5th Annual White Collar Crime Institute on Tuesday, May 10, 2016, in New York City. The panel, titled “Lessons From Recent Trials,” discussed strategies from recent trials, the use of jury consultants, presenting defense and presenting evidence, and channeling jury deliberations. During the comprehensive, full-day program, panelists explored critical developments in white collar enforcement. The sessions included discussion of the DOJ’s new policy on cooperation, and attendees had an opportunity to hear the perspectives of former white collar defendants and foreign lawyers. The panelists was comprised of senior government enforcement officials, senior legal personnel from New York-based corporations and financial institutions, and other top practitioners in the field.
