The New York County Lawyers Association (NYCLA) will be presenting the Conspicuous Service Award to the authors of Commercial Litigation in New York State Courts, Fifth Edition, including Alexander Lees, Milbank Litigation & Arbitration and Financial Restructuring partner. The virtual award ceremony will be held on January 13, 2021.
Mr. Lees authored the “Fraudulent Transfer” chapter for the treatise, published in October 2020 by Thomson Reuters and available on Westlaw. The chapter explores litigation under New York’s fraudulent transfer statute, which was overhauled earlier this year for the first time in nearly a century. Mr. Lees’ chapter is among the first comprehensive reviews of New York’s new legislation in this area.
