Legal Aid Society Honors Milbank for Pro Bono Service

NEW YORK, November 25, 2015 – Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP and several of its attorneys were recognized for their outstanding pro bono contributions at The Legal Aid Society's 2015 Pro Bono Publico awards. Partner Joel Krasnow, of counsel Jane Hanson, and associates Christopher Almon, James Beebe, Caitlin Danis, Alexander Gefter, Thomas Quinn and Dafan Zhang were honored along with the firm. Known for its commitment to pro bono services, Milbank works on numerous matters with The Legal Aid Society, including a case earlier this year that resulted in a landmark settlement benefiting thousands of New Yorkers with disabilities, as well as many other matters affecting low-income and underserved New York City residents.
