Singapore partner James Murray of Milbank LLP co-authored a feature on the successful financing of the Riau IPP in Project Finance International’s 2020 Yearbook together with Yuchiro Yoi and Juan-Pablo Martinez-Molina Mercado of Asian Development Bank (ADB) and Yuji Kano of International Finance Corporation (IFC).
Mr. Murray led Milbank’s team advising ADB, IFC and the lender group in the financing of the Riau IPP, which, in addition to being ADB’s and IFC’s first collaboration on an infrastructure project in Indonesia, was groundbreaking in several respects and included a number of relatively new and novel features as described in the article.
