Douglas Landy, partner in Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy’s Global Leveraged Finance Group, provided commentary in a recent The Globe and Mail article about Wall Street’s opinion of Donald Trump and the potential effect he could have on the industry.
Despite meeting with Jeb Hensarling, the Republican Congressman who recently suggested a replacement plan for the Dodd-Frank Act, Mr. Trump is yet to endorse it. Mr. Landy comments, “Mr. Trump’s campaign hasn’t really put out anything in the way of detailed proposals for the financial industry.”
