Hong Kong capital markets partner Jim Grandolfo along with counsel Paul Pery and associate Cheyne Cudby recently authored an article in Project Finance International’s PFI Global Energy Report 2019. The article, “AC Energy Goes for Green Bonds” provides an analysis of the first publicly-syndicated climate bonds initiative certified US dollar climate bond issue in South-east Asia to be listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange on which the team advised in February this year. Milbank represented the joint arrangers and dealers in connection with the establishment of Philippines-based AC Energy’s MTN programme and the issuance of the notes, which marked the company’s entry into the international capital markets.
