Primary Focus & Experience
Jan’s practice focuses on advising companies and investors on national and cross-border M&A transactions, joint ventures and all aspects of corporate law. In addition, he advises on the full spectrum of capital markets law and has extensive experience in advising clients across a wide range of industries.
Recognition & Accomplishments
Jan studied law at the University of Heidelberg and holds an LL.M. from the University of Cambridge. Prior to joining Milbank in 2025, Jan was partner at Hengeler Mueller, where he began his career in 2018. He is admitted to the German bar and speaks German and English.
