Milbank Receives Two “Deal of the Year” Awards from IJGlobal MENA Awards 2023

Milbank LLP received two more “Deal of the Year” awards at the MENA IJGlobal Awards 2023 in Dubai on 25th April in further recognition of its market-leading work in the region. Milbank transactions were honored in the following categories:

• Greensaif Pipelines - Refinance Deal of the Year - Oil & Gas - MENA Milbank LLP has advised the managers on the $1.5 billion first-of-a-kind project sukuk issuance by TMS Issuer S.à r.l for the refinancing of a bridge facility entered into in connection with GreenSaif’s acquisition of a minority stake in Aramco Gas Pipelines Company.
• Gulf of Suez II - Renewable Energy Deal of the Year - Onshore Wind - MENA Milbank LLP advised JBIC, NEXI, EBRD, the international and Egyptian commercial banks and the EBL lenders on the US$690 million financing of the 500 MW Gulf of Suez Wind II Project.
