Sophie's practice focuses on private equity and M&A transactions. Sophie has experience advising on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, including leveraged buyouts, minority investing, portfolio company bolt-on acquisitions and management incentivization.

Sophie has recently represented:

• Acturis and Founders on Astorg's majority investment
• ICG and BIMM on its acquisition of Met Film
• Universal Partners and Workwell on its transatlantic merger with PGC Group
• Chorus Aviation on its sale of Falko Regional Aircraft Limited to HPS
• The Partners of KPMG's UK restructuring division on the spin out of the business and formation of Interpath Advisory backed by HIG*
• The founders of PTSG on a public to private transaction backed by Macquarie and the subsequent investment by Warburg Pincus*
• The founders on the establishment of Continuum Advisory Partners*
• Investindustrial on its investment in the cross-border European online pharmaceutical business Atida*
