Rhodri specializes in infrastructure acquisition and capex financings and refinancings, acting for both infrastructure sponsors and finance providers. 

A selection of Rhodri’s experience includes advising:

• Ares in respect of the holdco financing provided to BNZ (a portfolio company of Nuveen Infrastructure's Clean Energy Fund III) in respect of its development and construction of a portfolio of solar farms across Spain, Italy and Portugal.*
• A funder in respect of its back-leverage financing arrangements relating to a number of separate infrastructure acquisition financings and refinancings.*
• Funders in respect of the joint venture acquisition a UK electricity interconnector business.*
• VTTI on the financing of its acquisition of 50% shareholding of Dragon LNG, the owner of a major onshore import terminal for the supply of liquefied natural gas to the UK market.*
• Arrangers in respect of the financing of the acquisition and development of a 100MW+ data centre campus in Slough, UK.*
• Funders in respect of the refinancing of a Finnish fuel and energy service company’s term and capex facilities.*
• Arrangers in respect of the financing of capex and development works in respect of cold storage facilities across the Netherlands and Poland.*
• Funders in respect of the acquisition and subsequent refinancing of a UK care home portfolio business.*
• Funders in respect of the acquisition by a sovereign wealth fund of a pan-European logistics portfolio.*
• Goldman Sachs as arranger of the financing of TPG Real Estate’s Physicus (German and Dutch) life sciences platform.*
