Primary Focus & Experience

Josh's recent experience includes the representation of:

  • The lenders in connection with the successful financing of three utility-scale renewable energy assets across Ohio and Illinois for Apex Clean Energy including for Coles Wind, a MISO wind project and Apex’s largest project-level transaction to date, and Emerson Creek Wind, a large-scale wind project in the PJM market. Together, these transactions represent nearly 670 MW of capacity and approximately $2.79 billion in financial commitments supporting the construction and operation of the three assets.
  • The lenders in connection with the financing of Monarch’s renewable natural gas (“RNG”) portfolio in order to support Monarch to fund project costs with respect certain of its RNG projects and to fund general corporate purposes.  
  • LS Power in connection with the financing of the Canton MacNider Wind Project (Parc Éolien Canton MacNider), owned by Clearlight Energy, in Saint-Damase, Québec, with a contracted capacity of 122.32 MW.
  • CleanCapital in connection with the offering of $185 million aggregate principal amount of 6.08% senior notes due 2050 secured by a portfolio of over operating 150 solar projects in the United States.
  • LS Power in connection with the acquisition and acquisition financing of over 3 GW of top-performing renewable, energy storage, flexible gas and renewable fuels generation capacity and approximately 1.8 GW of development projects, both of which throughout the US and Canada.
  • The purchasers in connection with the refinancing for the operation of an approximately 40-mile pipeline that transports natural gas from Agua Dulce, Texas to Cheniere’s Corpus Christi Liquefaction Facility, Texas.
  • Rev Renewables in connection with a $300 million upsizing to support its acquisition from LS Power of a new development-phase renewable energy business.
  • The lenders in connection with an acquisition financing in which Global Infrastructure Partners will purchase Eversource’s 50% equity interest in the South Fork and Revolution offshore wind projects being developed by Orsted.
