Primary Focus & Experience

João focuses on international capital markets and finance transactions with a particular emphasis on high yield bonds, equity capital markets, and cross-border securities offerings across a broad range of sectors and jurisdictions.

Prior to joining Milbank, he advised on a range of corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, and other general corporate and tax matters.

João’s experience includes advising:

• the initial purchasers in connection with King US Bidco, Inc.'s €750 million high yield bond offering to fund the majority acquisition of the Kelvion Group by Apollo
• Vía Célere Desarrollos Inmobiliarios, S.A.U. in connection with its offering of €320m 4.875% senior secured notes due 2031 and its new €60m super senior revolving credit facility
