Jesse Valente is an associate in the New York office of Milbank LLP and a member of the Environmental Practice Area within the firm’s Global Corporate Group. His practice focuses on environmental matters arising in complex domestic and cross-border transactions, including project development, mergers and acquisitions, and financing transactions. He advises clients on environmental diligence and risk allocation, including matters arising under the Clean Water Act, NEPA, CERCLA, the National Historic Preservation Act, and federal aviation and wildlife permitting frameworks. He has worked across a range of industries, including energy and infrastructure, manufacturing, real estate, data centers, and other large-scale development projects.
Jesse earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, his M.A. in Economic Law from Sciences Po, and his B.A. from Brown University.
