Gabriella Ferreira

Primary Focus & Experience

Ms. Ferreira has experience in the representation of project sponsors and financial institutions in a wide range of US, Latin American and other cross-border project financings and acquisitions across the energy and infrastructure sectors. Her recent experience includes the representation of:

• The lenders to KKR in connection with the acquisition financing related to EDF’s agreement to sell EDF Power Solutions in the United States and Canada.
• The lenders in connection with a $2 billion project financing of a hyperscale datacenter outside Texas.
• The Export-Import Bank of Korea (KEXIM), the Korea Trade Insurance Corporation (KSURE), IDB Invest (the private sector arm of the Inter-American Development Bank), and the other lead arrangers in connection with a $1.3 billion financing for the construction of a tunnel under the Panama Canal, which is expected to considerably reduce commute times and ease chronic traffic congestion.
• The lenders in connection with a series of financings for the construction of a renewable natural gas facility located in Tennessee intended to produce renewable natural gas from the by-products of the whiskey distillation process.
• The lenders in connection with a $609 million financing for the development and construction of a data center in Henry County, Georgia for Blue Owl Capital.
• Galaxy Digital in connection with the $1.4 billion financing of its data center campus in West Texas.

Recognition & Accomplishments

Ms. Ferreira earned her J.D. magna cum laude from Rutgers Law School, where she was named a member of the Order of the Coif and served as a Business and Human Rights Fellow. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie. Gabriella is a native Portuguese speaker and is fluent in English.
