Primary Focus & Experience

With over 10 years of specialized restructuring and insolvency experience, Eugene regularly advises financial institutions, issuers/debtors, bondholders, private credit funds, banks, and insolvency practitioners in complex cross-border restructuring and special situations in Asia. In recent years, Eugene has also been involved in numerous high-profile restructurings particularly in Singapore, Indonesia, and Greater China.

Recognition & Accomplishments

Prior to joining Milbank, Eugene was a managing associate in the Singapore office of a London headquartered magic circle law firm.

Eugene graduated from the Singapore Management University (“SMU”) with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) – summa cum laude in 2013. He is proficient in both English and Mandarin.
